Our Articon experts have over 50 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry. Founders Nipun Panchal and Michael Cohen started out as hotel investors and managers. They then leveraged their expertise to provide turnkey hotel projects, manufacturing, and procurement services to peers.
2022-Present
With travel resuming, Articon is experiencing rapid growth. Demand for enovations and new hotels are increasing. 2023 is shaping up to be their strongest year yet, with a combination of 10+ full FFE and turnkey projects completed since January.
2019-2022
In 2019, Articon supplied all FF&E and materials for the first Gen 7 Staybridge Suites by IHG. Despite pandemic challenges, strong factory relationships ensured timely project completion.
2013-2015
Articon consulted on and provided turnkey services for its first 200-room DoubleTree. They assisted the client in obtaining branding, loans, and tax incentives.
2012
To spur growth, the founders partnered with a warehouse company to provide FF&E installation services.
2011
The company completed its first boutique hotel conversion, transforming a nursing home into The Roosevelt Hotel in Williston, ND.
2009
Articon assisted in transitioning a Fairfield Inn to a Quality Inn, their first turnkey project. They handled design submittals, supplied FF&E and materials, and managed the rebranding.
2008
Nipun Panchal and Mike Cohen founded Articon. Just 15 days later, the Great Recession hit. The fledgling company survived by supplying FF&E for two new hotels – a Courtyard by Marriott and Staybridge Suites.
